Professor Meg Keen, Director
Professor Meg Keen is the Director of the Australia Pacific Security College. Prior to commencing this role in 2019, Professor Keen joined the Department of Pacific Affairs, College of Asia and the Pacific in 2015, following ten years as a senior analyst in the Oceania Branch of the Office of National Assessment, and a year as a senior policy adviser in the Regional Assistance Mission to the Solomon Islands.
Associate Professor Robert Styles, Deputy Director of Strategic Engagement
Associate Professor Robert Styles is Deputy Director, Strategic Engagement of the Australia Pacific Security College. Prior to commencing in this position, Assoc. Prof Styles was Advisor International Development at the Crawford School of Public Policy, Australian National University. In his current APSC role he advises and consults into the Pacific in order to advance the security agenda of the Region and enhance critical thinking about national security pressures and facilitate initiatives in response to the expanded security areas prioritised by the Pacific Island Forum (PIF) Leaders in the 2018 Boe Declaration on Regional Security — climate, environment, human and national/traditional security.
Jay Caldwell, Deputy Director of Education
Jay Caldwell is the Deputy Director, Education of the Australia Pacific Security College. Prior to commencing in this role, Jay joined the National Security College in 2017 as the Director of Professional Studies. He has fourteen years of experience in the public service focused on national security and how central agencies can better support decision-makers.
Cerian Stanfield, Business Manager
Cerian has over ten year’s senior management experience in the Australian university sector. Prior to joining PSC as Business Manager, Cerian worked in ANU’s Academic Standards and Quality Office managing transition projects for Third Party Providers.
