Advisory Board
The PSC Advisory Board is comprised of preeminent Pacific leaders, with a broad spectrum of expertise. Chaired by ACM Mark Binskin (Ret’d), the Board helps to shape the direction of the College, and connect us to a diverse range of stakeholders. The Board supports the operations of the College by acting as a sounding board for strategic matters, seeking to strengthen outcomes and impacts of the College’s work-plan, by providing feedback, strategic advice and cultivating relationships across the Pacific region.
ACM Mark Binskin (ret'd)
Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin (ret’d) is a highly decorated and respected senior executive and leader in the national security, defence and aerospace sectors, most recently as Chief of the Defence Force of Australia from 2014-2018, and earlier as Vice Chief of the Defence Force (2011-2014) and Chief of Air Force (2008-2011). He is currently Chair of the Australia Pacific Security College Advisory Board, Deputy Chair of the Airservices Board, Deputy Chair of the Sir Richard Williams Foundation, on the Boards of the Western City and Aerotroplis Authority and the Australian International Military Games (Invictus Games Sydney 2018), a member of the Governing Committee of the Temora Aviation Museum and is Non-Executive Director Defence and National Security Policy with BAE Systems Australia.
Ross Ardern
Mr Ardern is a diplomat and former New Zealand Police Officer having served with the New Zealand Police for 40 years. He has strong credentials in the Pacific including in the security sector.
Rhea Moss-Christian
Rhea Moss-Christian is the Chair of the Marshall Islands National Nuclear Commission (NNC), a government entity established in 2017 to address outstanding impacts of the US nuclear weapons testing program in the Marshall Islands. She was appointed by the RMI President and Cabinet shortly after the NNC was established and serves alongside two other Commissioners.
Teima Onorio
Teima Onorio is a Member of the House of Assembly and former Vice-President of Kiribati (2003-2016).
Silipa Tagicaki-Kubuabola
Rank: Lieutenant Commander Date of Enlistment: 1997 as a Commissioned Officer of the RFMF, Naval Division. Position: Staff Officer Plans, Policy (Maritime) and Legal Qualifications: Bachelors of Law (LLB); Masters of International Maritime Law (LLM); Accredited Mediator (Fiji Judicial Department).
Sir Rabbie Namaliu
Sir Rabbie Langanai Namaliu served as Foreign Affairs & Immigration Minister in the Government of Papua New Guinea from August 2002 to July 2006 and Minister for Treasury from July 2006 to August 2007.
Tuiloma Neroni Slade
Tuiloma Neroni Slade was one of the first elected Judges of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, The Netherlands. He has served extensively and in senior capacities in Samoa, the Pacific region and internationally.
Audrey Aumua
Dr Aumua is of Fijian descent, and since from the beginning of 2016 has served as the Deputy Director General (Suva) of the Pacific Community. She was the World Health Organisation (WHO) Resident Representative, based in Honiara, Solomon Islands, where she was responsible for the technical and strategic leadership to the government.
